About Me

LA native Sophia Frizzell creates a singular style through her work by blending elements of surrealism and the macabre. Obscuring the distinction between the mystical and the material, Frizzell creates a world of complexity derived from qualities of darkness and the unknown that encompass our everyday lives. By the time she was 16, she had had 3 art showings in locations all over Los Angeles displaying her graphite sketches, acrylic and oil paintings. She is currently attending The University of Texas at Austin.
